The first members of the
Bissellvile Muster Team were actually origanally members of the Hinsdale Muster Team.  In the 1970's there were to many people that wanted to be a part of musters on the Hinsdale team
and too few positions to fill.  A new
team was soon created with a new name, BISSILLVILLE. We are prouder than ever to be named after our local hero Isreal Bissell, a revolutionary rider,
who rode with Paul Reveere. Ray
Petell Sr. Restored a 1919 White which is still used today.

Today if you go to a muster, you will see the Bissellville Team, dressed in blue, running their hearts out with smiles on their faces. For them it is not just an event it's a family event. The team is made up of the Petell Family. Ray Petell's children, their spouses, his grandchildren, and friends of the family make up this unique team.
